Softening
There is a BIG misconception about softening.
The idea that any woman can 'just soften' if she sets her mind to it, or has the right practices, or hires the right 'coach' or teacher...or sits in the right sisterhood or circle...
I've been on a journey of softening for nearly 53 years, devoting myself to healing and aloneness, walking a path of faith, healing my father wound...and softening is STILL a moment-by-moment high practice for me.
Why is this?
Because we MUST first heal and come into the deepest honoring we can with our relationship with the masculine. This is a bold and true statement that I can now attest to as I've spent the last five years guiding women deeply into this work.
When we heal our relationship with the masculine; we come into deeper trust. Without deep trust in "the masculine" (Life, God and Men) we armor ourselves, we close, we anchor into doing and a false sense of safety...we are unable to soften, or we soften to the degree this armor and illusion will allow us to.
We live in a world that does not make it easy to trust.
We live in a world that does not make it easy to honor.
We live in a world that does not make it easy to be rather than do.
Until you find your way back to God (as only you know "God"), until you can come into deep honor for mortal men, until you can trust Life itself...you will never be able to soften, fully.
You will live soft moments. You will feel your capacity to soften. You will know HOW to do it, that it is possible...but you will never live fully in this softness...
My wish for all women who have the desire to soften and embody their feminine is that they have the courage and find the support to do the deep work: and that they remember their true essence, it is LOVE. And, that they find their ability to fully soften in this lifetime: and they radiate from this fully softened place.
Imagine how different our world would be, as the feminine sets the tone…if every woman was devoted to this path.
Softening as a woman is coming into your true essence; trusting God, men and Life to hold you fully, to provide for you, to guide you. Putting our trust in the masculine allows us to open our hearts as Love, drop our swords and armor, and fall into the most potent, the most powerful place we could ever be - in our woman.

I created a really beautiful 11-month heart journey called “SOFTEN” at the beginning of this year, combining the four circles that I’ve been guiding for the last five years into one intentional journey. The first circle is called “Honoring Your Inner King” and it is the pre-requisite circle and required starting place for this work: this is the exact place where we find our relationship with the masculine and determine the depth of our healing. Beyond this we explore men deeply and our relationship with them, we commit to embodiment practices and feminine mastery, and we open, open, open.
My teachers are my guide as I facilitate this journey; I’ve been deeply held by the brilliant wisdom of Gillian Pothier this year, and I’ve learned a lot about men directly from Alison Armstrong. I am in deep, deep gratitude for the beautiful masculine wisdom and perspective from many men I look to for support like: David Deida, Traver Boehm, David Cunningham, and John Wineland to name a few. Additionally I am a member of Meggan Watterson’s The House of Mary Magdalene membership, I’m currently studying with the Mayan Wisdom Project and The Kabbalah Center and I’m on the brink of launching my interfaith circle offering called At the Altar.
However, my greatest teachers have been grief, cancer, child abuse, heartache...and I am a forever student…
As my teacher Gillian so beautifully says, “There is no journey of the feminine without devotion.”
A few days ago I felt a deep and clear message in my heart, where I hold my conversation with God close. I’ve served more women this year than all years past…and He wants me to make this work even more accessible because of its importance.
